Military & Government Packaging, Crating & Shipping
Government solicitation or contracts have coded packaging requirements for the item(s) they are purchasing. These coded requirements are based on the specification MIL-STD-2073-1. These requirements include the quantity per unit pack, quantity per intermediate pack, preservative material to be applied, the preservation method, the cleaning and drying procedure, the cushioning, wrapping, barrier materials, packing level, outer shipping container, bar coding, RFID and possibly others. These coded requirements invariably refer to other specifications that these materials must meet.
We are trained in performing the entire procedure to ensure compliance with these requirements are met. From decoding, using the correct spec materials, applying them correctly, preserving, packing, and marking in accordance with all of the relevant specifications involved.
If your interest is only in the outer shipping container, we can provide spec boxes that meet various military, government, and ASTM specifications, and more.
